David Jacobson is a native Angeleno with 15 years of experience working in the treatment of Substance Abuse, Trauma, PTSD, and other mood disorders. His personal experiences in recovery inspired him to return to school and become a Therapist and Clinical Director. Currently, David is completing his Doctoral Research on ADHD and Cannabis Abuse Disorder and is in advanced candidacy for PsyD Degree. In addition to working at The Hills Center, he is an instructor for the UCLA Substance Abuse Counselor training program. David enjoys restoring classic cars, vintage video games, and fishing and is a very proud girl dad.
Dr. Reitman is a psychiatrist with a specialty in addiction. He received his education from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, followed by residencies and fellowships at the UCLA Medical Center and the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Reitman is part of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine and is certified in both Internal and Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Rodney Collins
Dr. Collins is a psychiatrist with over 20 years of practice, where he has affiliations with the Olympia Medical Center and the Southern California Hospital at Culver City. He received his education at the Howard University College of Medicine, and performed his residencies at the VA Medical Center, and the Olive View – UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Collins has subspecialties in general psychiatry, addiction, psychopharmacology, and HIV/AIDS.
Dominique King is a clinical therapist, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). She specializes in substance abuse/addictions, trauma/abuse, anxiety and depressive disorders, grief and loss, phases of life, self-discovery/ life purpose/ goal-setting, dating and family conflicts, and dual diagnoses. Dominique likes to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, and Motivational Interviewing Methods in treatment. She is a born and raised California resident and Los Angeles native. Her passion for therapy extends to her helping clients develop self-compassion and self-acceptance.
Alexondra McQueen is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who utilizes a solution-focused approach to treat issues such as addiction, anxiety, trauma, and depression. Alexondra promotes mindfulness and encourages clients to use internal resources when negativing challenges. Her goal is to assist clients in increasing self-compassion while correcting negative core beliefs. This collaborative approach is used during sessions because she believes the client ultimately knows what is best for them. Alexondra also encourages and helps clients participate in family sessions, where they will have the ability to process unsolved issues and traumas.
Jonathan Stoll is a practicing Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working with clients suffering from addiction. Jonathan has a distinct focus on what works for the client and what will be most helpful for their future sobriety. His vast experience has led him to work with teenage clients, students with learning disabilities, and DCFS cases involving families along with various levels of addiction within clients.
Manny Alvano brings years of experience and expertise to The Hills Treatment Center. He has worked in addictions and mental health as an RN for over 25 years. Manny brings compassion, positivity, and empathy to his daily practice and focuses on assisting every client's healing and recovery process. He has received training from outstanding health organizations, including the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA, Westwood. Additionally, his background and ongoing work as a professor of nursing adds to his contribution to patient and family education at The Hills. He earned a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration and Nursing and is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Addictions Nurse. He is a dynamic speaker and group facilitator. Manny works to build hope for every client so that they may again experience a life they are worthy of living.
Sarah Roleter is a passionate and dedicated Case Manager. As a recovering addict and a trauma survivor, she’s using her experiences to help others. Sarah has experience working with the homeless community and with domestic violence shelters. Her many years of experience working with treatment facilities have helped her work with clients on an individual basis. Currently, Sarah is enrolled at Pierce College to become a certified counselor. She loves what The Hills Center does for its clients and is grateful to be a part of the team.
Chandresh Bhardwaj is an author, spiritual advisor, and speaker. With nods from both The Dalai Lama and Dr. Deepak Chopra, Chandresh Bhardwaj offers a fresh, trailblazing voice in contemporary spiritual teaching.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Chandresh has long been fascinated by the incredible power of the human consciousness and shares that the truth must be realized from within.
Clinical Staff, LMFT
Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), while also being a master’s level Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor. She specialized in child and adolescent development, anxiety and depressive disorders, divorce, grief and loss, addiction, and dual diagnoses, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing Methods. Originally from New York, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her education and career by obtaining her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. Michelle is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology.
Finding motivation and setting real achievable goals is always a priority for his clients. Daniel creates a positive, friendly, and fun atmosphere for his clients to get mental and physical results.
Daniel has specialized backgrounds in weight/fat loss, muscle building/”toning”, flexibility/mobility, kettlebell work, and general fitness for better living. He designs unique programs for each of his clients according to their fitness level and health restrictions (if any), so that every training program he provides is strictly unique to the client and their fitness goals.
