William C. Samuels, Chairman, is the Managing Member of Carlyle Capital Group, an equity partner in the Hills Treatment Center.
He is a well-known political activist, entrepreneur and innovator in the development of socially-responsible businesses. He currently Chairs New Roosevelt a political committee devoted to cleaning up New York State government and is Chairman of Resonant Software, Inc.
Previously, as Chairman and CEO of ACTV, Inc., a digital media company he took a startup, thru an initial public offering, a second offering, to an eventual exit and a sale to an affiliate of Liberty Media in 2003.
He also founded a worker training company, building it into a world-wide technology and productivity consulting company that was also brought public. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from MIT and holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
